Where it began
Eastern Ghats began with a simple family experience. During trips across Yelagiri, Kolli Hills, Yercaud and other nature-rich destinations, our founder often visited Ayurvedic stores while his wife and daughters explored skincare products.
The shelves were full of traditional products, yet it was often difficult to understand what each ingredient did, which concern a product addressed, or how it should be used.
The insight
What stood out was personal: his wife and daughters had different skin types, yet Ayurvedic skincare helped support healthier-looking, glowing skin while addressing different skincare needs.
That experience sparked the idea to make traditional skincare knowledge clearer, more approachable and more useful for everyday consumers.
